Boy oh boy! I haven’t published a blog post in over 2 months… 2 months!? How rubbish of me. To be honest, I seemed to have had some kind of mind block when it comes to blogging for quite a while. I’m not entirely sure why. As we all know, manic life changes creep up on us all the time, and sometimes its hard to keep up with everything that’s going on in the world. Buy hey ho, we have to keep going! Don’t we?
I know we’re halfway through February, so I am very late to start talking about new year resolutions… And yes, you’re probably thinking here we go with the ‘new year, new me’ speech..BUT I said to myself that this year would be the year ‘I up my blogging game‘ and do what I want to do…so, that’s exactly what I am going to do!
I am not too sure whether you have already seen, but I have started a new adventure with my blogging and have created my very own community, ‘thehub‘ which will ultimately represent ‘Hampshire United Bloggers‘… Quite catchy don’t you think? The aim for this new network is to connect Hampshire’s bloggers with local businesses, and let the magic happen. Now I would like to make it clear that this community isn’t dedicated to bloggers and only bloggers, photographers and so on are more than welcome too. When I thought of the idea, I knew that welcoming all to the hub was the most important part. I, from experience, know how daunting it is to step into this big blogging world. Its so easy to feel lost, and lonely. And that doesn’t only happen when you first start out blogging, but throughout your whole journey.
Last Friday I held the first get together for my community at Turtle Bay Southampton. Which may I add, never disappoints! I was super lucky to meet a handful of lovely local bloggers, including Nisha, the owner of ‘hellosabao’ which specializes in Vegan friendly bath bombs and shower products. This lady is so talented! It was such a great evening, everybody was full of ideas and for the first time I began to feel extremely excited for what’s to come. Of course it isn’t going to be easy, I mean these days what is? But, you never know unless you try.
So, overall, thehub is inclusive to all people regardless of what stage of blogging. From beginners to experts thehub aims to showcase all talents in the Hampshire area. I don’t want to give too much away, but there is a lot in the pipeline and I would love for as many of you to be involved! If you have been searching for a community that’s supportive, creative, welcoming to all and aims to feel like one big family, please feel free to contact me if you would like us to show off your work! I don’t bite.
Have a lovely week and take care,
